With the creek back in its natural banks, the Andosol soils which was spread on a joining flat stayed in place. Fruit trees are planted. Spring will bring new growth, reducing soil erosion and contributing to carbon sequestration, improving air quality and mitigating climate change.
Propagation continues this winter. As they continue to get stronger, we are looking at areas to plant in the spring. They will be planted on riverbanks as well as hillsides. Their extensive root system will benefit areas prone to erosion.
Stockpiles of Tephra (volcanic ash) and Andosol Soils are now in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Bulk distribution has begun, and we are very excited to have bagged Tephra and Andosol Soil available soon.
